石狩湾新港にアメリカ海軍ミサイル駆逐艦「マスティン」（USS Mustin DDG-89）が入港したということで、行ってきました。 2007年の「ステザム」（USS Stethem DDG-63）、2008年の「マケイン」（USS John S. McCain DDG-56）の時と同様に、接岸しているのは西埠頭で、樽川埠頭から先は一般人立入禁止になってしまいますので、対岸の花畔（ばんなぐろ）埠頭から見ることになります。
